Building Blocks Financial Planning is an independent veteran-owned, local financial planning firm committed to helping individuals, families and business owners achieve clarity and confidence along their financial journey.

Our founder, Fady Chaccour, built his legacy with a passion for educating and guiding his clients to financial dependability based on their individual needs and goals. Our main focus at BBFP is to utilize ethical practice and a proactive approach to develop strong relationships that lead to custom-made solutions for everyone. BBFP will not be measured by meeting quotas or pushed to sell a product that might not benefit you. As a business owner himself, it is clear that Fady has a unique and innovative approach and is able to see things from your side of the table. This vision, combined with his expertise at serving business owners and families, lead to where we are today.

My Credentials

Fady Chaccour, is a Marine Veteran and an accomplished Financial Services Professional. He has been in the financial services industry since 1991, dedicated to providing solutions to complex financial planning goals for individuals, as well as, small closely held businesses.

He is certified as a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®) Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) Certified Financial Fiduciary (CFF®) and Certified College Advisor (CCA®). Fady is a Registered Rep and IAR of First Heartland Capital and First Heartland Consultant, he holds FINRA series 6,63,7,24 as well as his Life/Health and P&C Licenses. 

Fady’s areas of focus are comprehensive Financial Planning that encompasses Insurance and Risk Management, Retirement Planning, Wealth Accumulation and Transfer, Charitable Planning, Estate and Tax Planning and Business Planning. In addition, he is uniquely qualified to lead parents and students through the maze of preparation for college admissions. Teaching them the four pillars of selection for college admissions and how to be able to qualify for scholarships and other critical considerations. 

When not attending to clients, Fady dedicates his time to family and philanthropic activities. He is an active member of his Parish Council holding positions from Treasurer to Chairperson. He is a Board Member and actively involved in the American Foundation for Auxilia and prior Board Member of the Cleveland Chapter of The American Diabetes Association.
